BONDIT PEAK

This is the shortest possible trek in the area to see central Karakoram mountains including K-2, the second highest in the world. Bondit Peak around 7000 meters  has less traveled and still lesser known trek in the vicinity of Kanday village. A seven hours jeep drive take you to the Kanday village from Skardu. The trek begins from the village for two days ascend through the summer settlements to the base camp Bondit Peak and will descend down to Kanday village in two days for return road journey to Skardu.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

ITINERARY

ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Islamabad

Day 2:
Islamabad

Day 3:
Islamabad to Skardu (by flight it depend on weather) Or by Road to Chilas

Day 4:
Chilas to Skardu (or Skardu rest day)

Day 5:
Skardu to Kanday (By jeep it will take 5 hour to get kanday)

Day 6:
Kanday to Khutit camp
We start to walk from kanday and one day camping place in Khutit.

Day 7:
Khutit to Gunmah Bondit. There is one night camp

Day 8:
Gunmah Bondit to Base camp (Bondit peak)

Day 9 to 23
(15 days) for climbing

Day 24:
Base camp to Khutit (It depend on member) Otherwise kanday (Camping)

Day 25:
Khutit to Kanday (if member like to stay in khutit or rest day in Kanday.

Day 26:
Kanday to Skardu (By Jeep)

Day 27:
Skardu to Islamabad (By flight or drive to Besham)

Day 28
Rest day in Islamabad or drive from Besham to Islamabad

Day 29:
Islamabad (own ward destination)
